This song talks about how much the singer miss her and now all he has is just memories of her being with him. Its really hard to cope with someone who you have loved for so long just disappears from your life forever. Plumb wrote the song about self harm (cutting). she talks about a girl who would feel relief when she cuts herself. the topic of self harm is so hard to talk and express about but the singer made it so inspiring even though the topic is actually very painful. It encompasses the truth and beauty within such a hurtful subject.
